Automated messaging is now possible through Google Business Profiles FAQs
This can assist small companies in decreasing the resources required to reply to consumer enquiries in Google Search and Google Maps.
Google has introduced a new option to assist businesses in automating some of the replies to queries made via their Google Maps and Google Search business listings. This new function is part of your Google Business Profile and may be adjusted under the messaging area’s FAQs section.
Messaging that is automated. Google has developed a function that allows you to suggest topics that customers can ask your company when they start a conversation and then set up automatic answers to those inquiries. This is referred to as commonly asked questions.
Where to look for it. You may locate this by Googling Google for “my business” or your company name. Then click the “Customers” option, followed by “Messages.” In that area, click the three vertical dots, then “Message settings,” and finally “Manage commonly asked questions.”
This will save ample time for start-ups and small businesses who have previously been replying to every message by hand and writing out individual responses. Whilst this is very caring and can come across very genuine, it is very time-consuming and can take away from the more significant tasks that bring in the money. This isn’t to say you should cut the personality and kindness out of your business. A heartfelt, genuine response can do wonders for your reputation. But if you find yourself answering the same questions and responding to the same messages on a daily basis, the automated messaging on Google Business Profiles FAQs will help you out tremendously.

More information. Stefan Somborac, who discovered it and shared it on Twitter, noted that you may make up to 10 FAQs, with each question having a 40-character restriction and each response having a 500-character limit. You may also include links in your responses.
Why do we care? Customers benefit from messaging in Google Maps and Google Search, but many businesses cannot react to such inquiries promptly. FAQs and automated replies can assist these firms in responding to clients much more quickly, benefiting customer happiness and corporate resources.
